Julie (pronounced “Jzeu-lee”)Laurent was famous within her friend and family circles for her traditional Creole recipes. Raised in “Uptown” New Orleans she learned how to cook from other family matrons. She passed her recipes and love for “a good bowl of gumbo” to her daughters. Her eldest daughter “Mary”(pronounced by “Mare-ree” by her mother ) shares four generations of love with you in these dishes!
